Frequently Asked Questions
What if my daughter plays other sports in the fall?
We understand players are in season for other sports in the fall. Lacrosse is a spring sport and therefore the fall season is a more relaxed season. We ask parents and players to make a concerted effort to attend as many practices as possible especially leading into the tournament.
Do I have to buy a helmet?
Yes. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Girls Youth Lacrosse mandates a helmet be worn as part of the uniform. We have negotiated competitive pricing and pass that savings directly to you. The helmet is adjustable and will last your player her entire lacrosse experience.
New Bantam players can either purchase a helmet or borrow a used helmet until the spring season registration opens. The helmet must be returned to us at the end of every practice. New Bantam players are also welcome to wear goggles for the fall season.
Who are the coaches?
The Girls program is fortunate to have coaches that have played lacrosse in high school and college. The Girls program is also supported by coaches that have coached at the high school level as well as parent coaches that have trained with our more experienced coaches. You can learn more about the coaches here.
